Contractor SAP Security Working Group (CSSWG)

The Contractor SAP Security Working Group (CSSWG) established a SAP/SAR Sub-Committee in 1987. The first membership meeting was held in November 1988 and was comprised of ten defense contractor organizations and one government customer, which recognized the importance of establishing a SAP working group.
The Charter of the CSSWG is to Advance the practice of security management as a profession and to foster the highest qualities of competence and professionalism among its members; propose policies to government (SAP/SAR) elements in the enhancement of security, and organize and coordinate the resources of industry.
